We are snowbirds who divide our time between Princeton, NJ, and Palm Beach County, Florida. For the past 10 years, we have spent the winters in this condo and have loved virtually everything about it, except that it doesn't have a garage. We're moving into a house and are ready to rent out the condo. We will be close by to act as your local resource during the winter.
Our community borders Carlin Park. The park is maintained by the county and is one of the best anywhere! It has a beautiful ocean beach with all facilities, tennis courts, fitness trail, amphitheater and play equipment for visiting grandchildren! There are good shops, restaurants, supermarket, multiplex movies, and a theater within walking distance, and the greater Jupiter area provides opportunities for most leisure activities. There are many golf courses open to the public, canoe, kayak and sail board rentals, deep sea and lake fishing etc etc. Although we have occasional cool spells, it is warm enough to swim on most days of the year. The ocean temperature rarely dips much below 70deg F.
The condo association provides many facilities close at hand: tennis courts, bocce court, handball courts and a large heated swimming pool with ample lounge chairs. There is a clubhouse which is well equipped for the community BYO parties and other gatherings.
Accommodation
Living room and dining room with ample room for 6-8 people
Two master suites with full bathrooms. Each has a combined tub/shower with glass doors.
Bonus room with windows on two sides. We have used it as a playroom, sun room, breakfast room and third bedroom. It can be closed off for privacy, has a double futon and closet, and there is an adjoining powder room.
Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher.
Full size washer and dryer in the powder room.
Loft lined with well stocked bookshelves.
Private sun deck with dining table and chairs.
We provide all linens, table ware for at least six, cookware and utensils, iron and board, hairdryer, cable TV (three TV sets), DVD player etc., tennis racquets, snorkel equipment, beach chairs and umbrella, etc etc.
Forced air heating and a/c and ceiling fans in most rooms.
Parking. There is one assigned parking space (ours happens to be shaded!) and ample guest parking in addition.
Restrictions
We try to keep these to a minimum.
There is strictly no smoking indoors, but there is a sheltered entry balcony in addition to the sun deck where you can smoke in comfort.
We are not averse to small pets and children as long as you clear them with us as to suitability. The condo association forbids pets over 20lb., and our neighbours take exception to rambunctious kids and yappy dogs!
Rates
Similar units rent for well over $4000 per month in season with additional charges for checkout cleaning and visitors tax. We are hoping to rent it for the entire season on one contract of over six months (mid October - mid April) so that you can avoid those additional charges. We would ask $15000 for that period and you would be free to come and go at your convenience. We are willing to consider offers for shorter periods though.
